Bayern Munich have agreed to meet Chelsea's asking price for Callum Hudson-Odoi by submitting a fresh bid of £35 million.

Sky Sports are reporting that the German Giants have tabled a fourth bid of £35 million for the England U19 worldwide, which includes no buy back option - something fellow Bundesliga side RB Leipzig had been prepared to include in any deal.

Interestingly, to further the argument of Hudson-Odoi leaving for the better, one journalist has pointed out a very worrying fact about Chelsea's youth set-up - and it proves the winger needs to go now.

"If I was his agent, I'd be sitting down with him and saying be patient, stay at Chelsea".

He added: "But I am not in charge of all these questions and I don't want to speak to a player about something that doesn't depend on me".

Hudson-Odoi starred in Chelsea's 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup at the weekend and was named man of the match by the club's followers after bagging two assists as Álvaro Morata's bagged a brace. And Hudson-Odoi, it seems, could become the next young English sensation to join the prestigious league that has emerged as the breeding ground for several young and talented footballers over the past decade or so.

'He played like a player of 25 or 26 years. I can say only my opinion, I don't know the decision of the club.

Chelsea started with Callum Hudson-Odoi for their Carabao Cup semi-final against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley tonight - despite the player being the subject of intense transfer speculation.

"Without Cesc we only have five so we need a replacement".

"He is improving. In the last match he played very well and again I think played a very good match".

Sarri also told Chelsea fans to focus on supporting their team instead of directing chants at Spurs fans in Tuesday's tie.
