LOL: Elizabeth Warren 'Proves' She's Native American

Bustamante replies: "The facts suggest that you absolutely have Native American ancestry in your pedigree".

The RNC also jumped on a correction from the Boston Globe.

If Warren is 10 generations removed from a Native-American ancestor, she would be no more Native American -.09 percent - than any of the groups studied in that research. On Monday morning, however, the senator provided DNA evidence that confirms her Native American lineage goes back six to 10 generations.

As far as the questionable timing of Warren's DNA release, Messina may have a point in criticizing her motives of focusing on 2020 when the 2018 midterms are just a few weeks away.

"I hope she's running for president because I think she'd be very easy". (The Globe initially miscalculated this, due to a math error.) In this latter case, Warren wouldn't be any more of a Native American than the average USA citizen. They call her Pocahontas. Of all the high-profile Democrats said to be considering a run for president in 2020, the MA senator appears to be the most active sowing the seeds of a campaign, reaching out to candidates across the country and deploying staffers to early-voting primary states.

Jim Messina, who served as President Barack Obama's 2012 campaign manager and as a White House deputy chief of staff, said on Twitter: "Argue the substance all you want, but why 22 days before a crucial election where we MUST win House and Senate to save America, why did @SenWarren have to do her announcement now? Why can't Democrats ever stay focused?'"

He said it was surprising that a potential serious presidential candidate would make her first campaign act be the disclosure of DNA results.

Warren wonders in the video about the motives of those, like Trump, who "have questioned my heritage and my family history". "I have a feeling she will say 'no'".

Warren actually had the stones to demand that Trump pay up on the half-joking promise he made months ago to donate a million bucks to charity if she could prove she's Native American. Trump has repeatedly referred to her as "Pocahontas", including as recently as last week.

When pressed about the $1 million Trump publicly offered to give to the charity of Warren's choice if she produced DNA evidence of her family background, the president flatly denied making the offer-despite widely-available footage of him doing so on July 5 at a rally in Great Falls, Montana.

On Monday, Trump was asked for his reaction to Warren's revelation, to which he responded, "Who cares?".

"I didn't say that", Trump told a reporter. "That will not be something that I enjoy doing".

"Gosnell" director Nick Searcy has had plenty of fun with the correction the Globe had to issue to the original report and the fact that Warren is only 1/1024 Native American.

Warren claims her heritage was never used as part of her hiring process, yet listed herself as a "minority" in order to gain status for future job offers.
