Fortnite will reportedly be exclusive to Galaxy Note 9 for a month and then launch for all the Android phones.

While the accessories will be available after the Galaxy Note 9 is released, Samsung may not necessarily present it during the unveiling event. Samsung dominates the Android ecosystem, and at the moment, Fortnite dominates the gaming world.

We may have finally gotten some idea of the Fortnite Android release date.

That's a major upgrade from the Note 8's 3,300mAh battery, though Samsung will most certainly have to be quite careful about the bigger battery. The good news? Fortnite comes to Android in August.

The first teaser shows a phone battery on its last legs as a person frantically tries to keep it alive by lowering the brightness, disabling Global Positioning System, turning off Wi-Fi, closing apps - all the standard tricks. The Note 9 is expected to come pre-loaded with Fortnite along with several in-game benefits such as $100-$150 worth of V-Bucks for in-game use.

Reports claim it will be super premium, pack in the latest and greatest specs, and effectively take over from the Galaxy S10 as top dog in Samsung's phone ecosystem. Today, Samsung posted a Tweet stating that the Galaxy Note 9 can record in 960fps for 0.4 seconds.

While Fortnite has been on iPhones since March, it hasn't yet made the drop to Android.

Some of you may have watched Samsung's new video advertisement for the upcoming Galaxy Note 9 yesterday.

As far as the availability is concerned, Samsung is expected to open up Galaxy Note9 pre-order service in multiple global regions soon after the global unveiling in New York City on August 9. So if the information about the deal is correct, it could be until mid/end of September before Fortnite is available for all other supported Android smartphones in the Play Store.
