The former Melrose Place actress was reportedly taken into custody on Sunday night just before midnight, according to TMZ.

Ventura County officials say they responded to two disturbance calls at her home Sunday, and Locklear was extremely intoxicated.

"The responding deputy believed it was necessary to separate her from the others", a spokesperson for the police department told Fox News.

Her case file indicates she is still being held at the Ventura County main jail and said that "certain violent and serious offenses require a hearing in open court before the inmate can be released on bail".

Last week, Locklear was hospitalized after reportedly threatening to commit suicide amid fears her fiancée Chris Heisser was cheating on her.

It was at that time that Locklear kicked one of the deputies interviewing her and she was arrested on the scene.

Locklear pleaded not guilty to the charges in April but she was barred from owning or possessing a firearm. At the time, sources close to her said that she was "spiraling out of control". "There's no one that can say we don't", actor Jack Wagner, Locklear's ex, told Extra shortly after her psychiatric hold. The 56-year-old actress was last arrested in February on suspicion of domestic violence.

Locklear was also allegedly unco-operative with the sheriff's deputies and became combative.

ET Canada has reached out to Locklear's rep for further comments. The dispatcher said the caller told her to "get the police her now".

According to the dispatch audio, the original 911 call was a hangup, but the dispatcher could hear a female cursing in the background of the call.

She was on probation and due in court later this summer for her February arrest.
