It's the second straight conference title for Florida State and the Seminoles' third trophy in four years. UF became the first team to be the No. 1 overall seed three times. Relieving Miller, junior Bryan Hoeing would also struggle with his command a bit, as a wild pitch and single would bring home an additional two runs.

It had been almost two decades since an Atlantic Coast Conference team won back-to-back ACC Baseball Tournament championships.

"I'm so happy for him and happy for his teammates because we get to continue the growth of our program", Hamilton said. Three of the Seminoles' four wins in Durham this week came in their last at-bat.

In addition to winning for the 16th time in their last 17 ACC Baseball Championship games, the Seminoles continued an uncanny run of recent success in extra innings.

With the offense lighting up the scoreboard, the pitching staff as a whole continued to struggle as the game progressed through the middle innings.

Freshman catcher Zach Britton added a three-run homer and sophomore Danny Oriente had two hits, drove in one run and scored once.

Third baseman Drew Mendoza hit a two-run double in the 10th to give Florida State the lead, and left fielder Reese Albert tacked on an insurance run on a fielder's choice.

Mann's two-run homer in the third pulled the Cardinals to 5-3, and he led off the fifth with a double.

The Cardinals (43-17) made it 8-5 in the top of the fifth when Mann led off with a double and scored on Logan Wyatt's base hit to center field.

Auburn will find out its postseason destination during Monday's selection show, which will begin at 11 a.m. CT. Troy finished as runner-up in the Sun Belt tournament, falling to Coastal Carolina in the championship game.

The Tigers were not selected as one of 16 teams to host a Regional next weekend in the 2018 NCAA Baseball Tournament.
