Yet, it is LeBron James' greatness that has caught Tiger's attention.

-LeBron James is averaging 41.4 minutes per game.

If the criterion is based on pure dominance then Wilt Chamberlain should be considered the G.O.A.T. He's been brilliant when Boston has needed him most, scoring 20 or more points in seven straight games - tied for the second-longest such streak by a rookie in National Basketball Association history - and coming up huge in the deciding Game 5, scoring a team-high 25 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter, capped by a clutch layup through contact with 22 seconds left that gave the C's a lead they'd never relinquish.

"Not better than Jordan!", Prince replied immediately before giving his assessment of James. James is seventh in scoring in the history of the National Basketball Association, and in his 15th season has accomplished legendary feats.

-LeBron James is averaging 9.4 rebounds per game.

"I'm creating a super team right now here on The Jump", McGrady said nearly tongue in cheek. I got Kobe six and I got LeBron seventh.

Both the Celtics and Cavaliers have undergone roster overhauls since the Cleveland ousted the Celtics in 5 games previous year. I know the Lakers have the cap space to spend and may have to look elsewhere if James or George don't sign, but I can assure you inking any of these players would be a regrettable decision.

Tatum has since played three games against James, including the first contest of his own professional career. I've never seen a change in a player. He's like a hybrid of MJ and Magic (Johnson), which is so different.

The 2003 draft class is all but done. Dwayne Wade is contemplating retirement. He became the first player in NBA Finals history to lead in points, assists, rebounds, blocks and steals while playing on a team to rally back.

"And what LeBron has done for, what, 15 seasons now is just remarkable because it's that type of longevity, and to be able to be up for that long a period of time".

Fans are starting to get more convinced that LeBron is the greatest player of all-time.

As I type, some kid is in a gym or on the black top practicing post moves; he's trying to get his footwork ideal. Who's the greatest? I don't know, but it has been fun watching these legends make their case- even if my Pacers were often their sacrificial lambs.
