15 of the 16 teams that began the tournament two weeks ago had at least two NAHL alumni on their roster.

Jake Evans scored his second goal of the game with 5.2 seconds left and Notre Dame beat MI 4-3 on Thursday night in the Frozen Four semifinals. The Michigan-Notre Dame victor will play the victor of No. 4 Ohio State University and the University of Minnesota Duluth for the NCAA Division 1 national championship on Saturday, April 7.

And for those who only followed the men's NCAA basketball tournament, this from the Frozen Four may sound familiar as well: MI lost.

If Ohio State scored the next goal, Minnesota Duluth's season was over.

The only other junior league in North America with more alumni playing in the NCAA Division I Championship Tournament than the NAHL is the USHL. The Bulldogs used a pair of hit to score the game's first run, but that was about it for the visitors, who saw their three-game winning streak end.
