Arkansas tied the game at 10 when Barford made a 3-pointer less than 4 1/2 minutes into the half, but a second Koulechov 3 regained control for the Gators.

South Carolina: The loss puts an end to any hopes South Carolina had of returning to the NCAA Tournament, where it reached the school's first Final Four a year ago.

Florida scored the first 6 points and led the entire first half aside from when Barford tied the game at 10-10 on a 3-pointer with 15:35 to go.

Arkansas: The last time the Razorbacks won a game against Florida was on February 5, 2013, in Fayetteville.

White watched in agony as his team missed a handful of point-blank shots at the rim, missing six of 12 layups, including an uncontested miss in transition by Egor Koulechov. "I thought (Bailey) played like a warrior, and that's what we've been looking for", Anderson said.

Jaylen Barford scored 13 of his 17 points in the second half to help Arkansas hold off SC for a 69-64 win in the second round of the Southeastern Conference Tournament on Thursday night.

"This guy is capable of going off and going on runs by himself", Razorbacks coach Mike Anderson said. Freshman Daniel Gafford added 16 points and also matched his career-best with 12 rebounds, keying an effort that saw the Razorbacks outrebound the Gators 43-28. Jaylen Barford is averaging 17.9 points and 3.9 rebounds while Daryl Macon is averaging 17 points and four assists.

The Vols came out hot, taking a 48-29 lead at halftime and continuing their lights-out shooting in the second half en route to an 84-66 victory. Florida held the ball for the final possession out of a timeout, but Chiozza's short jumper was off as the buzzer sounded.

Barford, a first-team All-SEC selection, was 6 of 11 from the field and had a key 3-pointer and fast-break layup in the closing minutes. Gafford followed with a couple put-backs, almost yanking the rim off the backboard on the second to the delight of the pro-Arkansas crowd. Keith Stone led Florida with 22 points and 5 rebounds in 24 minutes.
