And keep getting your Shore fix every Monday with new episodes of MTV Floribama Shore at 10/9c.

Dust off your Ed Hardy and get fist pumping because nearly the entire original cast of Jersey Shore are coming together again for a new series! Also, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino will be seen. That marks MTV's biggest new series launch in three years among 18-34s and second biggest in total viewers. There's no news yet about why Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola's name has been left off the cast list. Huh.

Five years after MTV's Jersey Shore closed up shop, the breakout reality hit is returning to the Viacom-owned cable network. In fact, in 2011, the show got an average of a whopping 9 million viewers in just one episode. MTV has announced that it's bringing back the original cast of "Jersey Shore". Here, the cast relived the past and visited familiar places, shared their stories, and updated each other's lives. That program made its debut last night and, in between drama-filled segments of sun-soaked twentysomethings doing body shots on a tiki bar, there was an announcement that, if you thought this was the end of this particular TV rebirth, will have you taking at least one extra cold shower.

The news of this blessed reunion was announced during the premiere of Floribama Shore, the network's latest attempt to recreate the magic of Jersey, but set in Panama City Beach, Florida, instead.
