UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor was at ringside for Irishman Charlie Ward's fight at Bellator 187 in Dublin Friday, and seconds after Ward scored a knockout victory, McGregor jumped into the cage and tackled Ward in celebration. Upon being confronted, McGregor slaps the the official before his teammate Ward runs over to him.

FYI, Goddard ordered McGregor to leave cageside last time Lobov fought in the UFC.so that's probably what set Conor off.

Referee Marc Goddard then tried to have McGregor removed from the cage, and the Irish firebrand shoved the referee. Bellator 187 will air in its entirety tonight on Spike TV at 9pm ET.

It is not immediately clear whether McGregor will face any disciplinary action by the UFC or a regulatory body.

McGregor was grappled by security but ultimately left the cage on his own, returning once more to yell "that was a f-king stoppage" before being ejected from the match by Goddard.

The UFC has never co-promoted with anybody before but there's also never been anyone like McGregor, who has become the biggest draw in all of combat sports over the past few years.

McGregor was knocked out by Floyd Mayweather during his pro boxing debut in August.

McGregor returned and was stopped at the top of the fence by another official.
