According to Samsung's press statement, Galaxy S8, S8+ users in South Korea, the USA and the United Kingdom will get a chance to preview the new Samsung Experience 9.0 before its official release.

UK S8 owners are only eligible if they have an unlocked device.

Available now through Samsung channel partners, the Note8 Enterprise Edition is priced at $994 and arrives unlocked so businesses can go with the wireless carrier of their choice.

Businesses that choose to provide employees with company-issued devices rather than going with a bring-your-own-device strategy have to make a "substantial investment", as that decision is usually part of a larger, organization-wide digital transformation effort, according to Eric McCarty, vice president for mobile product marketing at Samsung Business. Samsung has rolled out a Beta update for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus users in the United Kingdom and the USA.

Interestingly (read annoyingly) enough, the Galaxy Note 8 Enterprise Edition isn't much pricier than a typical Note 8 bought from, fetching $994.

To support an otherwise highly appraised handset, the introduction of the Android 8.0 Oreo beta for the Galaxy S8 has elevated proceedings even further.

Again, Samsung said the update is only coming to select devices. To check for updates, head into Settings System updates on your phone.

But in addition to your typical workplace-friendly software, namely Samsung Knox Configure and Samsung Enterprise Firmware Over the Air, the Note 8 Enterprise Edition also comes with something many everyday consumers would literally kill for. It is worth noting that the special edition users can also have the luxury to use Samsung DeX.
