Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Specs Finally Revealed In Major Leak
The Korean electronics giant has already sent out invites for what can only be the Galaxy Note 8 launch, on August 23, at an event in NY. Present is the 6.3-inch SuperAMOLED display, which is a tag larger than the Galaxy S8+. The look on the other side of the device, though, received mostly positive reviews like "pretty as hell" and "absolutely stunning".
The company has been running a new promotion in which you get $500 off on a new Samsung TV if you switch to DirecTV and purchase a Galaxy S8 with AT&T Next payment plan.
"The shipment of Samsung's smartphones rose 12 percent year-on-year as USA consumers have posted very positive responses to the new S8 products", said Ken Hyers, an analyst at Strategy Analytics.
If there was any concern that the Galaxy S8 would struggle to find a foothold in 2017 with the release of the 10th anniversary iPhone looming, those concerns have been allayed in the days, weeks and months following the launch of Samsung's latest flagship.
Samsung's Galaxy S8 is the most beautifully designed smartphone we have seen this year so far.
South Korean giant, Samsung has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming high end smartphone or we can say Phablet, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 on the coming August 23rd.
Apple is turning the heads and break the records with the iPhone 8, iPhone Pro, iPhone X later this fall.
It offers a resolution of 1440 x 2960 with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio, and dimensions of 62.5mm x 74.6mm. Samsung will use the same OLED Infinity display on the Note 8, though there will be a few minor changes.
The FCC certification also confirms the presence of an edge-to-edge Super AMOLED display which will make the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 the device with the most usable surface area in the world.
The company is expected to improve on the Note 8's standout feature - the S-pen stylus.
That's supposedly backed up by 6GB of RAM, with 64GB of internal storage, and two 12-megapixel dual rear cameras.
After the Galaxy Note 7 mishap past year that resulted in its official discontinuation, it is the Galaxy Note 8 that needs to be an attractive package to improve Samsung's image in the market.
